LadyBug Travel has an umbrella with Destinations Unlimited, aka A Touch of Home Vacation Rentals (LadyBug Villas, Wedding Travel Expert and Eagle Point Travel residing under it. An agency working with various companies and owners throughout the world providing customers access and information for the various rentals we provide access to. The following information relates to and is significant with all those under the umbrella.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Clients understand and agree that any initial deposit paid to The Agency as well as the various companies/owners it represents, is NON-REFUNDABLE and must be received within 3-5 business days of booking the actual vacation rental requested. Rentals can be requested to be held for up to 3 days.
The Agency does not hold (or keep) ANY security damage deposits in their bank or possession for companies and/or owners and accepts no responsibility for the return to the customer of those deposits. Usually those deposits are paid on site upon arrival in the currency of the company or country visited. Most are refunded, if there is no loss or damage to property, at time of departure or within 30-60 days of such departure–due to electricity bills, heating or telephone usage bills account for the longer length of time for refunds to process.
TRAVEL VACATION RENTAL INSURANCE: A link that is given to all for the purchase of insurance. For those who decline insurance, the Agency also provides a link for the signing of a Waiver to Purchase Insurance to clients. Clients do not have to purchase the insurance provided via our company, however, if they choose to purchase from another company, PROOF of that paid for insurance must be received in this office within that same 3-5 day period. Either one must be on file within 5 days of booking. If no notice is sent and received within that time period, it is presumed (and agreed to by the acceptance of this T&C) that there is no insurance provided for client in the event of being unable, unwilling, weather related or any of the other myriad of events that could cause one to miss their vacation. Clients understand that there is NO RECOURSE AVAILABLE for anyone not having insurance, which is also understood and agreed to by accepting the T&C herein.
GROUPS: The Agency must have the complete names, ages, addresses of everyone traveling within a group within 10 days of travel. Everyone traveling within that group must have signed either a waiver or purchased separate Insurance within that time as well. If that information is not received, it is deemed that there is NO INSURANCE PROVIDED for any in the group and NO REFUNDS will be given regardless of initial payment received. (WEDDINGS: check into Wedding Insurance for that Just in Case scenario)
RENTAL CANCELLATION: All deposits and final payments must be received within the time frames given. If initial deposits (which are always NON REFUNDABLE) are not received within the time frame allowed, and IF a payment extension is granted, there will be an additional fee of $100 for each late payment(s).
Final Payments: If not received by the due date, and no extension requests have been received IN WRITING and granted IN WRITING, then the Vacation Rental being held is hereby deemed to be cancelled, with a forfeiture of all funds received.
VACATION CANCELLATION: If for any reason you must cancel your reservation, with the required insurance documentation, you will have up to 1 year from your arrival date to rebook the same home, based on availability at no penalty to you. If the dates you rebook are at a higher nightly rate you will be required to pay the difference.
VENDOR/OWNER CANCELLATION (or any cancellation by any governmental agency within said country) – Such cancellations are extremely rare but do occur from time to time and can occur when a property is suddenly sold, becomes unfit for habitation, or deemed unfit for ANY period of time or reason by a governmental agency (in writing), or by some weather related emergency of Mother Nature (Hurricanes, tornadoes, etc) then the client(s) will be given options of at least 3 available rentals in or around the same area for the same period of time to choose from. If any of the available properties are declined, there is no refund. IF clients have purchased insurance, they must contact the carrier with their insurance provider number as soon as possible.
What are the entry requirements for traveling outside the country?
All U.S. citizens are required to present a valid passport when traveling by air to and from countries. Expired passports are not valid, your Passport must be valid for AT LEAST 3 MONTHS past the arrival/departure date of your vacation period.
For complete information on obtaining and renewing passports, including forms to renew by mail and expedited service options, see the U.S. Department of State’s Passport site. Citizens of other countries should check entry requirements with their appropriate consulates before traveling.
What type of payments will we accept?
We accept VALID cashier checks, money orders, wire transfers or credit cards may be used by using GOOGLEPAY. Funds MUST clear before notice is sent for a finalized booking. Personal and business checks will be accepted ONLY if they are received 45 days prior to arrival for final deposits. ANY bank charges or other related fees are to be borne by the customer.
What is your payment process?
A fifty percent (50%) non-refundable down payment shall be required at the time of reservation. The balance shall become due and payable 45-60 days prior to the reservation date or the reservation will be canceled (payment date vary according to owner/company involved).
In some instances the Security/Damage Deposit is requested before arrival–we will inform you if that is the case in your instance.
Will you call when my second payment is due?
Normally, we will not call before your final payment is due, however we do send you a little reminder by e-mail a week before it’s due.
When will I receive my confirmation documents?
Confirmation documents are mailed (emailed/faxed) out after all payments are received/cleared AND all documents have been signed and returned to the Agency. RECEIPTS will NOT be sent until funds have legally cleared. Faxing required DOCUMENTS back to us is perfectly fine at 888-838-9712.
What happens if we need to cancel?
If for any reason you must cancel your reservation, with the required insurance documentation, you will have up to 1 year from your arrival date to rebook the same home, based on availability at no penalty to you. If the dates you rebook are at a higher nightly rate you will be required to pay the difference.
